Sani Saminu is a lecturer 1 in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin for the past seven years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. He is currently the examination officer, project coordinator, and clearance officer of the department. His research interest includes Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Instrumentation, and Wireless Communication in relation to Biomedical Engineering applications. He has extensive research experience in physiological and image signals detection, feature extraction and classifications. He has to his credits over fifty publications in reputable journal outlets and edited conference proceedings. He has supervised many undergraduate projects and serve as a reviewer in many journals and conferences. He is a registered engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Member Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), International Association of Engineers, and Nigerian Society of Engineering Technicians (NISET).
